Zettauer
Thomas Zettauer started playing drums and percussions in
the tender age of 8.
After 3 years of playing drums he decided to concentrate
on percussions.
Some of his teachers, to name a few: Anton Mühlhofer
(www.cubanton.com), Gerhard Reiter, Hakim Ludin (www.hakimludin.de),
Luis Ribeiro (www.luis-ribeiro.com)
He is working on different studio-projects and CD recordings
and is also playing and composing music for the New York based
TV-station NTDTV, a chinese non profit and independent TV-station
for more freedom and human rights in china (www.ntdtv.com)
Right now he is busy playing
with his main project “Die
Chillertaler”, an successful Austrian folk, funk, pop,
rock formation:
Until now he did numerous live performances in Vienna, Salzburg,
Berlin, Stockholm, Geneva, Paris, London, New York and Washington
in front of up to 40.000 people.
One “Highlight” has been the “Life Ball 04” together
with the “Drumatical Theatre” beside great pop acts
such as Nina Hagen, Elton John and Ronan Keating.
One of the greatest halls he has gigged until now was the “Radio
City Music Hall” in New York City.
